Erika Eliasson is proposed to Goobit Group's Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Goobit Group has decided to propose Erika Eliasson as a new Board member and intends to convene an extraordinary general meeting for election shortly. Erika Eliasson has solid experience in fintech and communication and thus strengthens the board in these areas. The number of board members is increased from five to six.
“Erika Eliasson contributes with experience from successful growth companies in the fintech sector. This will be a welcome reinforcement of Goobit’s board as we continue our expansion in the Nordic region and Europe,” comments Christian Ander, principal owner and board member of Goobit Group AB.
Erika Eliasson has established a deep knowledge of, and experience in, the finance and tech industry. She is currently a senior advisor at Kreab, chairman of the Wellstreet Fintech Board, a member of the Realtime Advisory Board and chairman of the Swedish Fintech Association. She has previously, among other things, been Deputy CEO of Lendify. Erika is a suitable complement to the board and strengthens it with her expertise in both fintech and communication.
Earlier this year, the Board was strengthened with Karl-Mikael Syding with solid experience of funds and analysis of the financial sector.
Erika Eliasson is independent of the company, management and major owners. Through the election of Erika Eliasson, the number of board members increases from five to six, which presupposes that the Extraordinary General Meeting also approves a corresponding change in the Articles of Association.
